"Good Grey Ghost" is the sixth and second largest collection of songs that I've released so far. Clocking in at 15 original compositions, this LP follows and emerges from a series of dramatic and liberating events that happened to me in 2020-2021. The songs are part expressions of hope, part ramblings of a madman. As a whole they show, in my mind, how stories and events have an uncanny way of shaping who we are and who we become. I recorded these on a piano in the basement of my then-apartement with the heroic intention of further polishing them. I was going to re-track in a studio and add all sorts of violin and synths. Obviously, that is not what ended up happening. The result is a shamelessly lo-fi record, at times whimsical and at other times serious and moody. This is me at my most vulnerable and I wouldn't have it any other way. I dedicate this album to anyone with a heart and ears.
